Introduction
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of Coach Otis, a mobile app for iPhone and Android that gives you an AI voice fitness coach. They form an agreement between you and the operator of Coach Otis. By downloading, accessing, or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Coach Otis. These Terms take effect on May 17, 2026.
The service
Coach Otis is an AI voice fitness-coaching app. You speak with “Otis,” an AI voice coach, who guides you through short fitness sessions, encourages you, and helps you build a consistent workout habit. The coaching is generated by software and is intended for general fitness motivation and guidance only.

Coach Otis is not a medical provider, and Otis is not a doctor, physical therapist, or licensed health professional. The coaching, exercise suggestions, and other content in the app are for general informational and motivational purposes only and are not medical advice.
Consult a physician or qualified healthcare provider before starting any exercise program, especially if you have an injury, a medical condition, or any concerns about your health. You use Coach Otis and perform any exercise at your own risk.
Stop exercising immediately and seek medical help if you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, faintness, or any other physical distress. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something in the app.
Accounts
To use Coach Otis you create an account. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Please provide accurate information when you sign up, and let us know promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
Acceptable use & objectionable content
Coach Otis has zero tolerance for objectionable, abusive, or harmful content and behavior. You agree not to use the app, or your conversations with Otis, to generate, request, or share content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable. The AI coach is designed for fitness motivation only; attempts to misuse it are a violation of these Terms.
If you encounter objectionable content or behavior, you can report the conversation from within the app. We review reports and may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy.
You agree to use Coach Otis only for its intended purpose. You may not misuse the service, interfere with or disrupt its operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access to it, or reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the app.
Subscriptions & billing
Coach Otis includes a limited number of free sessions so you can try the experience. After that, continued use requires a paid subscription:
- Monthly plan — $9.99 per month.
- Annual plan — $59.99 per year.
Subscriptions are sold and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on the device you use. Your payment is charged to the store account associated with your device, and subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel. You can manage, change, or cancel your subscription at any time in the subscription settings of the App Store or Google Play, respectively. Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the current paid period. Prices may change, and any change will be communicated before it takes effect.
Intellectual property
Coach Otis, including the app, the “Otis” coaching persona, and all related content, designs, and software, belongs to the operator of Coach Otis and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the app; they do not transfer any ownership to you.
Disclaimers & limitation of liability
Coach Otis is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular fitness result.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of Coach Otis will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, and our total liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Termination
You may stop using Coach Otis and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — such as the health disclaimer, intellectual property, and limitation of liability — will continue to apply.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and significant changes will be communicated within the app. Continued use of Coach Otis after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
