Overview

This page explains how to request deletion of your Coach Otis account and the personal data associated with it. Coach Otis is the AI voice coaching app for iPhone and Android. If you no longer want to use the app, you can ask us to permanently delete your account at any time.

How to request account deletion

To request that your account and data be deleted:

  • Send an email to [email protected] from the email address linked to your Coach Otis account.
  • Use the subject line “Delete my Coach Otis account”.
  • If your account is not linked to an email address (for example, you used the app without signing up), include any details that help us identify your account, such as the approximate date you started using the app.

We will confirm your request and complete the deletion within 30 days. We may contact you to verify your identity before deleting the account, so that no one else can delete it on your behalf.

What data is deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove the personal data we hold about you, including:

  • Your account record and email address.
  • Your voice and audio captured during coaching sessions.
  • Your session transcripts, session summaries, and coaching profile.
  • Your workout streaks, session history, and in-app usage data.

What data is kept

After deletion, a limited amount of information may be retained for a short period:

  • Backups — residual copies in encrypted backups are purged on a rolling basis and are fully removed within 90 days.
  • Transaction records — basic records of subscription payments are retained where we are required to keep them for tax, accounting, and legal compliance. These records do not include your voice, transcripts, or coaching content.

Your subscription itself is managed by the App Store (Apple) or Google Play. Deleting your Coach Otis account does not cancel an active subscription — please cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings to stop further billing.
